A motion may be considered to authorize the recruitment process to fill an upcoming  
vacancy of Municipal Court Judge Position 2 and direct the City Manager to begin  
accepting applications for a period to begin this week and close at 9:00 a.m. on the  
morning of Monday, December 1; after the close of the application period, the City  
Clerk shall forward all applications to the Mayor and the Chair of the Government  
Performance and Finance Committee, who will shorten the interviewee list if necessary;  
interviews will take place at the Government Performance and Finance Committee  
meeting at 10:00 a.m. on December 2, 2025; and after completion of the interviews, the  
Committee will recommend two to three individuals to Mayor Woodards for  
consideration, prior to the full City Council for consideration at a Council meeting in  
January 2026.
