REGULAR AGENDA

A motion may be considered, pursuant to Section 3.4 of the Tacoma City Charter,

to confirm City Manager Hyun Kim’s appointment of Ramiro Chavez as the

Environment and Public Works Director for the City of Tacoma, effective at

12:00 a.m., on July 13, 2026, and subject to the terms and conditions of a

written offer and acceptance of employment and the applicable provisions of

the Tacoma Municipal Code.

general election, providing for transmittal to the Pierce County Auditor, as ex officio

supervisor of elections, of Safe Homes for All Initiative Measure No. 1 for placement

transmit to the Pierce County Auditor a certified copy of this resolution.
