to confirm City Manager Hyun Kim’s appointment of Ramiro Chavez as the  
Environment and Public Works Director for the City of Tacoma, effective at  
12:00 a.m., on July 13, 2026, and subject to the terms and conditions of a  
written offer and acceptance of employment and the applicable provisions of  
the Tacoma Municipal Code.
