A resolution and proposition to amend Article II, Section 2.35 of
the Tacoma City Charter to expand the term limits for the Mayor and
Council Members elected in or after year 2025 from 10 consecutive
years to three consecutive full four-year terms; provided that,
the new expanded term limits will not apply to the Mayor and
Council Members holding office during the 2025 general election.
