A resolution accepting a grant from the Washington Criminal Justice Training
Commission, in the amount of $4,644,082, and depositing said sum into the
Tacoma Police Department Special Revenue Fund, together with $507,588 in
matching City funds, budgeted from the Human Rights and Human Services Fund,
for a cumulative total of $5,151,670, to support hiring 12 police patrol officers,
three support staff, and one contracted psychologist.
